Meet our founder, Darren
I grew up in a family that often struggled with money. This led me to work as a financial coach serving People of Color for over 10 years, where I saw many in my community struggle to take action to reach their goals.
I believe through peer matching with access to a financial expert in key moments, My Money Story creates a space for POC to overcome the taboos around talking about money while working together to achieve our financial goals and build wealth.
