We’re looking for nonprofit partners!
The next round of our expanded pilot program is launching in Q3 2024 and we’re looking for 501c3 nonprofit organizations passionate about tracking client financial outcomes and testing our peer-based service. VITA and financial empowerment programs are especially encouraged to partner with us!
Up to 500 clients will be paired with a Money Match – someone with similar finances and experiences. Together, and with some guidance from our coaches, they’ll partner to work toward their financial goals from January to April.
Weekly automated prompts written by our certified financial coaches are sent to Money Match pairs to spark regular reflection and invite open conversation.
Kick-off sessions led by our certified financial coaches – We’ll schedule and facilitate sessions for your earliest client peer matches, and provide video resources to include later additions to the cohort group.
Monthly outcome reports generated by our team. We’ll provide a report about your clients’ outcomes and engagement with the program.
Early access to a unique peer accountability tool tied to financial goal achievement.
Bulk messaging with your clients enrolled in the program.
Discounted pricing during the pilot period and beyond for partners who choose to continue.
Financial coaching & custom workshops are available for interested organizations.

Each client fills out a 4-minute survey to share a little about themselves and their financial goals. Those responses feed into our database and allow us to make Money Matches to peers with similar shared experiences.

Research shows that talking with a peer about your financial goals makes clients more likely to achieve them. We’ve surveyed 10K+ potential clients and interviewed 100+ more. They tell us they want to connect with a peer they don’t know to have judgment-free conversations about money and their financial goals. We’ve also seen positive savings and debt outcomes from our past and current clients.

In match pairs, one of our team members joins before the 1st video call of each pair of money matches. We also include clear language not to share any confidential information with matches via chat in our platform. Our coaches monitor messages and will remove anything that puts a client at risk.

Though we have Spanish speakers on our team, at this time, we are targeting English speakers and hope to expand to Spanish and other languages in the future.

Partners can opt for My Money Story to make client matches solely within their organization or to allow clients to also match with peers working with another My Money Story pilot partner within the same state/region.

Yes. We are targeting mostly nonprofit partners for this round of partners, but we’d love to learn more about your organization and still encourage you to submit our interest form. If you're a credit union, small bank, employer, or something else entirely, we'd love to connect with you.
